Subscription boxes are all the rage these days, but I’ve never felt the urge to splurge on one for myself. They can be pricey, and honestly, there’s nothing I want enough to justify the cost. But a subscription box for my dog? Sign me up!

I first came across BullyMake subscription box ads on my social media, and if you're a bully breed owner like me, you know how any advertisement featuring those sweet bully faces instantly grabs your attention. BullyMake promises a box tailored for strong chewers, which is important for those pups with that strong bite force. While Marlee isn’t the type to lounge around gnawing on toys all day, whenever I bought her toys in the past, they’d be destroyed within a day—sometimes within minutes. And with how expensive dog toys are these days, it all starts to add up.
After doing some research, I decided to invest in a BullyMake box. I figured I'd try it out for a couple of months to see if it was really worth the hype. Here’s my thoughts:
Each month, BullyMake surprises you with a fun, themed box. Over the past few months, we’ve enjoyed themes like “Bark to School”, “Barking Bad”, and this month’s festive “Barktober Fest”. It keeps things exciting, not to mention I love how we can almost decorate the house with festive toys!
Each BullyMake box comes packed with three bags of treats and two toys. What’s great is that through their online portal, you can customize the box to suit your dog's needs. You can input any allergies your dog has to ensure the treats are safe for your pup. When it comes to toys, you have the option to choose between a rope toy, a plush, ballistic, nylon, or rubber—allowing you to tailor the experience to what your dog enjoys most!

I’ve given each type of toy a try, and after some experimenting, I’ve settled on sticking with the plush and the rope or ballistic options. While the nylon and rubber toys are so cute and great for other dogs, Marlee really does not care for them. The plush toys are great for a bit of fun (even if it’s only for a day ;) ), while the rope and ballistic toys allow me to engage in play with her. If your dog is a tier one chewer, the nylon and rubber toys from BullyMake will be perfect for them. Plus, BullyMake offers a helpful policy for those tough chewers: if your pup manages to chew up one of their hard toys, they'll send you a free replacement! No more spending countless amounts on replacing toys that plenty of companies claim are durable.
Marlee and I are huge fans of the treats aspect of the box. It’s a huge relief not having to deal with the hassle of buying treats separately. I also love not having to carefully read ingredient lists for chicken, and the treats last well beyond a month. We use them for obedience training, and Marlee finds them to be incredibly high value, which is crucial for effective training.

BullyMake also rewards their loyal customers with some great incentives! They have a referral program where you earn an $18 coupon—equivalent to a free toy or two free treats—for each friend you refer. Additionally, they send out free gifts after a certain number of boxes. For instance, after our 7th box, we received a complimentary dental kit! These perks make the subscription even more rewarding and exciting
The box ranges from $31 to $45, depending on the plan you choose. Given that I no longer need to buy additional treats and rarely spend on other toys (except for her trusty tennis balls and super cute plushies that I come across!), I find this price to be quite reasonable. We’ve had the BullyMake box for a year now, and it’s been fantastic. Marlee has even started to recognize the box and gets excited the moment I bring it inside, even before we open it. If you’re looking for a convenient way to add some extra fun to your dog’s life, I would definitely recommend investing in a BullyMake subscription.
