July's dog of the month is Pops- Pops was a foster dog sibling of Miss Peaches, who is a famous Instagram pittie. Their foster dad/owner is Dave Portnoy who is the founder and CEO of Barstool.

Dave has done an incredible job in advocating for adopting rather than shopping and has also done a fantastic job in advocating for bully breeds. He has been able to use his large platform to showcase the love that these breeds have to give and to fight the stereotypes that they have been given.

Pops is a super adorable dog who was recently adopted after being showcased on social media. We hope you enjoy your furever home, Pops, and keep fighting to stand up for what is right!

Marlee's Monthly Favorite:
Salmon Baby Food

One thing I’ve noticed while training Marlee—especially when she’s feeling stressed—is that she tends to grab treats a bit aggressively. It’s not intentional, of course, but because she’s so strong, her quick snatching can definitely hurt sometimes (lol!). To help with this, I decided to try using baby food instead, encouraging her to lick rather than bite. And honestly, it’s been a game changer! I picked up this salmon-flavored baby food pouch as a high-value reward, and she’s obsessed. She’ll even sit calmly for it in high-stress environments, which is a huge win for us!
